AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS
RewriteAssist ("Company," "we," "us," "our") operates the website rewriteassist.com (the "Site"), the RewriteAssist Chrome extension (the "Extension"), and any related products and services that link to these Terms of Use (collectively, the "Services"). These Terms of Use form a legally binding agreement between you ("you") and us regarding your access to and use of the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may not use the Services.

1. OUR SERVICES
The Services are provided for grammar correction and text rewriting. The Services are not designed to comply with industry-specific regulations (for example, HIPAA, FISMA, or GLBA). You are responsible for complying with applicable local laws when using the Services.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
We own or license all intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, designs, text, and logos (the "Content"). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Services without our written permission.

3. USER REPRESENTATIONS
By using the Services, you represent that: (a) you have the legal capacity to enter these Terms of Use; (b) you will not use the Services for unlawful purposes; and (c) you will comply with applicable laws.

4. USER ACCOUNTS
Some features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. PURCHASES AND PAYMENT
If you purchase a subscription or credits, you agree to provide accurate billing information. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe). Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise. Taxes may apply.

6. CANCELLATION
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time through your account or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You may not: (a) use the Services for illegal or fraudulent activities; (b) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; (c) interfere with the operation of the Services; (d) upload malicious code; or (e) use automated systems to access the Services in a way that harms performance or violates these Terms of Use.

8. USER SUBMISSIONS
If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and publish that feedback without compensation.

9. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
The Services may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. PRIVACY
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms of Use.

12. DISCLAIMER
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
